:: Day at the Zoo :: 3:16 AM

Went to the zoo last Sunday for Mom's company family day with XH.

Laden with goodies

I forgot the exact name, but they were a type of otter.
When we first heard them, they sounded like a bunch of human babies crying at the same time.
You might not tell from the pic, but they are very cute and move around in unison.

White tigers. Taken from a distance.

Chimpanzee enclosure. Too far away to really see anything.

I think it was a monkey who had a multi-coloured ass. Like it's face.

1 of the 2 animal shows we caught. The reason why there's lots of pics for this one is because it had a handsome animal trainer. All taken by XH, not me. I swear. Haha.

I told you. XH wasn't paying much attention to the show at all.

The other trainer, whom you can see, XH ignored. And the pelican was kinda calefare. He/She kept walking around and butting into other animals' business. Hehe.

Ah Meng's statue. Rest in peace.

This brings back fond/not so fond memories of visiting the zoo back in my primary school days. It changed a lot ever since then. I think the annual/bi-annual visit has put me off the place.

Is it still a pre-requisite for all primary schools to have compulsory school trips to either the zoo or the bird park? And the secondary schools the musuems? Hmm.

Remember, do not buy any products that advocates cruelty to animals.
Especially elephant tusks and tiger meat. Once something is lost, it may be forever.
