It's getting harder and harder going back to gwp.
Don't get me wrong, most of the part timers are still great and I'm learning to live with the China girls. I take back my words, some of them are pretty sweet actually.
What I can't stand is the constant bullying by the managers. Granted, not all of them are guilty of it. But its happening more frequently this days. Today, I was basically being taken for a ride. I did something and I was wrong, fine, I'll change it. Guess what? I was scolded for doing it wrong again. And I did it correctly the 1st time round. Just f-ing great.
It's already a very trying day for me as I was deprived of him. All this shit made it worse.
I miss Jess. Please come back.
I won't be facing this sort of shit if she was still around. A lot of people think her faves are deemed untouchable. I'm one of them and to this day, I still have no idea why. I suspect its mainly because of her forever ongoing feud with the aunties. Anyway, things are basically going downhill ever since she left. It's like being stranded in the middle of a river with no way to shore on either side. All her pets, so to speak, are pretty good at what they do, if I may say so myself. Now, its like we are being condemned or something like it. Less bookings, short hours etc.
If you really dislike my way of working, fine. Kick me out then. I've been wanting to do so since Jess left. I don't need this job anyway. Take a look at how the other part timers work during a CWD. You'll have to admit to yourself that other than the aunties(who have more than my age's worth of experience), I'm the best damn person in the ballroom.
If you think your job's stressful, wanna trade? I just received news that I've to create and update just about an entire database's worth of info within the next 2 weeks and take over nearly an entire system for inland costs on top of my existing workload. You wanna talk about stress? I'm living it.
If you think I've been enjoying the privileges of being Jess's pets,think again. We are constantly expected to prove just why we are a prvileged bunch. Imagine having to teach 5 new people the full CWD and if one of them screws up, we are the ones having our heads chopped off.
On a more happy note, I saw him quite unexpectedly last week. Time flew by, but not for today.Labels: deep thoughts, GWP
