Time sure flies by when you are having fun. Er, sort of anyway.
Ushered in 2007 in pretty much the same fashion as last year. I was working again. Although there was considerably less fanfare and people around, no balloons were popped next to my ear. So at least that part was a vast improvement.
We had our own countdown after the function was over where we toasted sparkling grape juice and had our own 7 course dinner. Heh. Cheers to XH, XD, Allan, Wee Kiat, MX, Junxiang(my best partner-ever who's enlisiting on the 12th, will miss working with him), Chor Hoon, Betty and Ace!
Then met up with the rest of the guys like PC, Shi Ming, Ramlan and BR at Swensen's where we had more food. Ate the vanilla ice-cap and the giant earthquake.
It's so sinful. No wonder I'm getting fatter.
It didn't make sense for us to take cabs home so we hung around for a while waiting for the trains to start service. There was a long, long queue at Lucky Plaza. The guys wanted to play pool so we went to Cineleisure where i saw some of the most one-sided matches ever. I will never look at the losers the same again. So lau kui leh. Lol.
And thanks to all the guys who were gallant enough to send me all the way to Raffles Place. Even though you couldn't do the whole thing properly and send me all the way home. Ahem.
B-dae celebration for Michael:
At the official chalet itself The very belated personal celebration at K-box I love the last pic Ice-skating - 020107 We went ice-skating yesterday! Behold the 1st pics for 2007 - collection still incomplete due to some pics not taken by my cam. I just felt like blogging today. Me with my coach, BR who was like me trying ice-skating for the first time yesterday. Unlike me however, he did not manage to almost concuss himself within the first half hour by landing on the back of his head. He also tried(tried being the keyword here) to teach me how to ice-skate. I'm lucky if I can even balance. I'm also eternally grateful to him for not leaving me in the middle of the rink, never mind him laughing at me half the time we were there. I've decided that I'm absolutely talentless at this sport unlike sone lucky people. I'm also staying off roller blading if my skills(if you can call it that) at ice-skating are any indication.
