First of all, I want to start off by saying congrats to my Xiaodi for successfully snagging the most compatible girl for himself yesterday. Can't help saying that I saw it coming a long time ago, haha. In fact, I pride myself for being the one that brought them together. Ok lar, shall not divulge too much of their mushy stuff le. He better take good care of her from now on.
Very happy today cause it's a PH and I don't have to work(duh!). I get to sleep in which I've never had the chance to in a long, long time. Thus, I'm going to blog about how happy I am today.
Just kidding lar. Since when have my entries not involved some kind of written(or should it be typed?)abuse or another?
Never mind.
Went to GWP on last Sunday to work, saw Michael there..again. He's a big, fat(ok lar, he's not that fat)liar. Everytime say he wants to stop because of school reopening and yet I still see him there week in, week out. But still, lucky he's there lar, otherwise I wouldn't have anyone to talk to because Xiaodi's totally into his 'newly beloved'. Haha.
Nothing much to say about work except for one guest being sibeh guai lan. I don't even know what word to use to describe her. Tell me, what do you call someone who refuses to make eye contact with you? Normally when we serve people, because of their seating arrangement we'll just hand the plate to them. It's just too much of a waste of time to place the plate in front of them. This woman? Refuses to take the plate that I handed her when other more fussier guests(believe me, I've met more than my fair share)have no fucking problems doing so. Fucking hell. I really felt like taking her plate of food and smashing it into her horse face. KNN. Never met anyone so damn guai lan as her and that's saying something. What else can I do but to guai guai de put her stupid food in front of her. Even when clearing, she refuses to touch any thing other than her drink and pair of chopsticks. This function is not a high class Western set dinner ok? Tell me, since when have CWDs warrant this type of service? Everything's chop chop and go. I tell you, if every guest is like her I would have QUIT a long time ago. In contrast, the rest of the table is super nice. They even take the time to chat with me lor and the grandparents are very nice and not fussy at all, unlike some people.
Finally gotten the pics courtesy of Xiaodi from our shopping trip that wasn't really a shopping trip. None of us bought more than one item. Everyone bought the same T-shirt, diao. I guess Xiaohui's going to make us wear it when we go house-hopping during CNY, if we ever get round to doing it.
This is a seriously disturbing photo. Really.

This photo took a lot of courage from me. We were standing in the middle of a busy pedestrian walkway in broad daylight. Not a problem for Xiaohui of course. She's the Master of pulling stunts like this. In case you were wondering, we are trying to imitate the statues behind us.
On a side note: When is it going to stop raining? Water has been falling from the sky for 3 days non-stop. On Sunday, I very nearly froze to death in the Terrace cause of the rain plus the aircon being switched on. And normally, I had a view of the CBD from my seat in the office. Yesterday, the CBD disappeared! Hidden by the rain! How cool is that? Except Shenton Way floods everytime there's a heavy downpour. Imagine what 3 days of continuous rain can do. Couldn't have been fun for them.
The weather is seriously skewed these days. But it's pleasantly cool at night. Saves a lot of money since no one in their right minds would switch on the aircon. And I heard that India had snow(!) from Jessica. Haha. Don't know whether she's pulling my leg or what.
How Day After Tomorrow-esque the weather has become.Labels: GWP, photoblog
